Growth Marketing Manager

Hey there! This isn’t going to be a standard, boring job description because, well, this won’t be a standard / boring job. 

We’re looking for a Jack / Jill of all trades who’s keen to help drive growth and has the skillset to make it happen. You may have been a web designer, growth ninja, or growth hacker back when those terms were all the rage. Or you may have worked somewhere else in the marketing space. 

And if you’re new to this world, then you’d be someone who knows how to code a website (HTML/CSS/JS) but never wanted to just be an engineer. You’d have a basic understanding of design along with an ability to think strategically and come up with cool ideas. You’re someone who likes to experiment, throw stuff at walls, and mess with the status quo. Oh, and you can turn a phrase / have a solid gif game to top it all off.

Sounds like a made up unicorn? Maybe. But if you are in fact a unicorn reading this, just know that at Finimize we pride ourselves on everything fairies and rainbows and will make you feel right at home.

We’re not looking for an expert at everything, but rather for someone with the curiosity, attitude, and tenacity to roll up their sleeves and help us empower the next generation of investors. 

You’ll be working closely with the VP of Growth as well as the VP Product and will get a chance to interface with lots of different teams and people in the company (we’re all friendly).

💪 Responsibilities:


  1. Designing, developing, and iterating experiences for our public website(s) that enable easy user discovery and encourage signup and acquisition. 
  2. Own our growth marketing implementation: email campaigns, landing pages, automations.
  3. Support other teams on the web: e.g. Building out a slick marketing site for our annual customer summit 
  4. Be part of an ambitious team working towards shared goals
  5. Ensuring that code you write is clean, easy to read and maintainable

Some things we consider critical to being our Growth Marketing Manager:

  1. You’re motivated by improving business & product outcomes in an efficient way as possible
  2. You get excited by the idea of scaling digital products to millions of users
  3. You’ve built websites before with html/css and have a decent understanding of javascript
    1. Modern web development tooling and approaches to building websites, e.g. NextJS, Gatsby
    2. Modern Javascript/front-end development skills (inc. ES6, flexbox etc)
  4. You’ve played around with no-code tools in the past like Webflow, Mailchimp etc.
  5. You’ve used Framer or Sketch / AdobeXD ( Photoshop if you’re real OG)  to design marketing assets / web pages 
  6. You’re output-focused (you get things done)
