Do I need to pay for a monthly/yearly subscription to try out some of the features?
Try out Finimize Premium for free for 7 days with our trial. If it’s not for you, no hard feelings: you can cancel your trial up to 24 hours before it expires. After this, it’ll automatically roll into a Premium subscription.
Trial only offered on full-price annual memberships.

Manage my Subscription & Cancellations
How do I cancel my subscription?
You can cancel your Finimize subscription whenever you like, and you’ll continue to have access to all the perks of your Premium Membership until your subscription expires.
- Open the Finimize app and tap the profile icon in the top-right corner of the “Today” screen
- Scroll down and select “Manage subscription”
- Just follow the instructions to cancel your subscription
Alternatively, if you paid for your subscription through the Apple Store, Google Play, or directly through the Finimize website, you can cancel using the links below.

How can I check when my subscription is about to expire and/or what my current payment plan is?
- Open the Finimize app and tap the profile icon in the top-right corner of the “Today” screen.
- Scroll down and select “Manage subscription”
- Here you’ll be able to see everything you need to know about your subscription
If you’re an Apple user, head over to the subscription section in your phone settings to see your subscription details.
Can I switch the email associated with my subscription?
Yep, just drop us an email at help@finimize.com from the email your current subscription is attached to with the following phrase:
👉 “I’d like to move my Premium membership from this email address to [new email address]”
And we’ll get it swapped over.
I’d like my account to be deleted – can you help?
Absolutely, just drop us an email at help@finimize.com and we’ll sort it for you.
I’ve paid for a Premium subscription – why can’t I see my Premium features?
This usually means you’re logged in with the wrong email address.
If you signed up through Apple or Google Sign In instead of manually entering an email address just press “Continue with Apple” or “Sign in with Google”. If you’re sure you’ve logged in with the email you originally signed up with but you can’t access Premium features, go to “Settings” in the Finimize app, and scroll down until you find the “Restore Purchase” tab. This should update things on our end, and refresh the app on yours.
If you are using the right email address, you’ll want to check to see you have the most up-to-date version of the Finimize app. If you go to your App store you’ll see if there is an update to be installed. Just press on “Update” and the latest version will begin installing.

Technical Issues
I’ve paid for a Premium subscription – why can’t I see my Premium features?
There could be a couple of reasons for that.
The first thing to check is that you’re using the right email address. That’s the one that you used to sign up in the first place. If you signed up through the Apple tab instead of manually entering an email address all you need to do is press “Log in with Apple” and you’ll be good to go 😎
If you are using the right email address, you’ll want to check to see you have the most up-to-date version of the Finimize app. If you go to your App store you’ll see if there is an update to be installed. Just press on “Update” and the latest version will begin installing.
If this still doesn’t work and you bought your membership through the Apple Store or Google Play store, you can always restore your purchase. Simply go to “Settings” in the Finimize app, and scroll down until you find the “Restore Purchase” tab. This should update things on our end, and refresh the app on yours.

Refunds
What is your refund policy?
You’ll be eligible for a refund if no more than 2 weeks has passed since your last payment and you have not accessed any Premium content. If the membership was purchased using the Apple Store please follow these instructions to request a refund: https://support.apple.com/en-gb/HT204084
We have no control over Apple payments refunds and can’t guarantee a refund will be processed.
If you think you’re eligible for a refund from us directly then just drop us an email at help@finimize.com. We’ll let you know if you’re eligible, and if you are, we’ll cancel your subscription and credit a refund to your account within 5-10 business days. That’ll mean you’ll lose access to your Premium content.
What’s the refund policy for trials?
When you sign up to a trial with us, you’re agreeing that it needs to be cancelled up to 24 hours before it’s due to expire – otherwise, it’ll run into a yearly subscription.
If you bought your membership through the Apple Store, it’s in their hands: we don’t have any control over their processing of refunds or cancellations. If you want to know more about how to request refunds from Apple, check out the link below:

Can I get a refund if I accidentally paid for a renewed subscription?
Sure, as long as you’ve not accessed any Premium content and not more than 2 weeks has passed since the renewal. In that case, we can refund you in full to your account. Just bear in mind that if the membership was purchased using the Apple Store, we have no control over their refunds and can’t guarantee a refund will be processed.

Do I need to create an account on our events platform to watch live events?
Yes, we use an events platform called Bevy to manage our Finimize events. Please take 10 seconds to create an account and you’ll be all set to RSVP to future events.
Please note, this is not the same as your Finimize email and password.
Where are past event recordings?
Our best-performing events will be available for Premium members a few weeks after the event via the Community tab in the Finimize App. Only the top events of the month are chosen to be uploaded based on event feedback scores.

How do I search for topics in the app?
In the app, click the explore tab and search all our content for the topics that interest you most. You can also browse our collections, and see your bookmarked and downloaded content.

- I started off my finance career in commodities trading and then moved into investment banking at HSBC where I spent a couple of years working on cross-border M&A. I’m now an analyst at Finimize.
- My investment expertise lies in digging into a company and understanding its valuation relative to its peers and market price to see if there’s an opportunity
- My favourite investing strategy is finding underappreciated, often niche companies and investing in them long-term.
Jon:
- After doing my rounds at a few investment banks after University, I joined M&G investments in 2014 as a valuations analyst. Then from 2016 I began a more entrepreneurial career: I wrote three investment books, started my own investment education blog, and helped set up and manage a long/short crypto hedge fund in London.
- I used to consider myself an all-rounder, with a focus on mutual funds, ETFs, stocks, gold, and bonds until I got into crypto in 2017. From that point on, my expertise has skewed more toward crypto: both long-term fundamental investing and short-term technical trading.
- I like to do the basics right, by investing in a bunch of different asset classes (stocks, crypto, gold, bonds) and dollar-cost averaging into them. Rebalancing is also a great way to lock in profits over time and reduce risks. For stocks and bonds, I prefer actively managed mutual funds that invest globally, where the fund manager has a solid track record and a sound investment process.

How do I get my referral bonus?
